Price of diesel decreases

The Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to keep the retail price of gasoline unchanged despite an increase on the international fuel market
The retail price of diesel will be reduced by fourteen cents per gallon, from $15.60 to $15.46 per gallon, effective Monday April 21, 2014. This reduction is due to a decrease in the purchasing price of diesel on the international market, during the review period. 

Despite a $0.56 per gallon increase in the import price of Gasoline, the Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to keep the retail price unchanged, at $15.85 per gallon. 

The prices of the 20lb and 22lb LPG cylinders also remain unchanged, at $36.93 and $41.00 respectively. Based on these prices, Government will continue to subsidize both the 20lb and 22lb cylinders of cooking gas, at a rate of $17.81 and $19.21 respectively.

The 100lb LPG cylinder and bulk LPG will increase from $268.00 per cylinder to $273.70 cylinder and $5.69 per kilogram to $5.86 per kilogram, respectively. 

The retail prices of petroleum products, effective Monday April 21, 2014 are as follows:

Gasoline Unchanged at $3.49 per litre or $15.85 per gallon

Diesel reduced from $3.43 per litre or $15.60 per gallon to $3.40 per litre or $15.46 per gallon

Kerosene increased from $2.60 per litre or $11.83 per gallon to $2.90 per litre or $13.19 per gallon

100 Pound Cylinder LPG increased from $268.00 per 100 pound cylinder to $273.70 per 100 pound cylinder

20 Pound Cylinder LPG Unchanged at $36.93 per 20 pound cylinder

22 Pound Cylinder LPG Unchanged at $41.00 per 22 pound cylinder

Bulk LPG increased from $5.69 per kilogram $5.86 per kilogram

The next price adjustment is scheduled for July 14, 2014.
